International Bridges to Justice

We met Mrs Taren Tse, the founder of International Bridges to Justice (IBJ)international_bridges, on a philantropic event organized by a large financial institution on 2007. She told us about her encounter with a 12-year-old cambodian boy in pre-trial detention for stealing a bicycle. This situation encouraged Mrs Taren Tse to launch her “IBJ JusticeMakers program” in Cambodia. A three-pillard approach to creating a sustainable legal aid community in Cambodia. Consisting of trainings, roundtable discussions, and rights-awareness campaigns. IBJ also held additional one-day sessions for Cambodia criminal defense leaders and roundtable events for police, court, prison officials, local and national government officials. These methods serve as an effective means to raise rights awareness.

Based on these informations, our foundation decided to support Mrs Taren Tse with a donation to built up her “IBJ JusticeMakers program” for Cambodia.
